Northern Microlights
We can supply all your requirements for getting the national private pilots licence,flying instructor course,or radio telphony course. There isn't a more experienced or better qualified instructor than our proprietor Graham Hobson. He has amassed thousands of hours of instructional experience, teaching hundreds of pilots safely and thoroughly, the art of microlight flying over the last three decades. Prior to that he taught hang gliding and competed at world class level.
Equipment and facilities
Once you have decided microlighting is for you we can provide all your requirements.
From aircraft sales new or second hand to every accessory you might require. There is also hangarage, aircraft servicing, aircraft test flights and inspections all available on sight plus loads of free advice.
Remember microlighting is an inexpensive form of aviation, costs equate to buying a second hand car or running a motorbike.
The Airfield
Northern microlights is based on its own dedicated airfield. The site is a 40 acre field in the centre of flat open countryside which is safe and uncluttered and makes a perfect base for training operations.
A microlight flying lesson makes a thrilling and rewarding present for a loved one. You can buy a personalised voucher for a 30 minute,1 hour, or 2 hour flight.
